The Inspiration Inside

Hi Friends,

We are surrounded by inspiration.

It lives in the stories of history, in the quiet resilience of nature, and in the examples of those who have overcome extraordinary obstacles - people all around us. Maybe it is just me, but it seems that many of us think that when we’re on the right path, we’ll feel confident, certain, and comfortable. However, in my experience, the opposite is usually true.

Growth asks us to do things we’ve never done before. It asks us to risk failure. To have conversations we don’t know how to have. To make decisions without having every answer. To trust that we can figure things out one step at a time.

All of these things are uncomfortable.

I’ve come to believe that our willingness to be uncomfortable is requisite to creating a life we love. And, ironically, it is necessary to avoid the discomfort of regret.
